Pickles and Paper

Today's post will be in chronological list format.

1. Breakfast at Quaker diner. It is not owned by Quaker's, but rather is right next to Quaker Lane.
2. I practiced the Martinu duo hard core. Like Axl Rose hard core.
3. Made a hat for Roger Williams out of one of the many scores of Ben's piece. He didn't like it as you can see (Ruth says, "And by the way...a cat in a hat!"):

4. Trip to Ruth and Ben's church for some errands and getting acquainted with the space. There was also a cute little farmer's market going on outside the church. We purchased peaches and sugar snap peas!
5. Super duper intense intonation rehearsal at the Hartt School. It was really productive. We're really working hard to put on an awesome concert for you guys!
6. Ran some errands. Unintended purchase at Whole Foods...THESE DELICIOUS PICKLES:

I really love pickles, and these one's are spicy so they are extra good. Ben and Ruth also love pickles. I don't think Roger Williams likes pickles. I love them though.
7. Marinated Steak shish kabobs for dinner on the porch. It was finally a cool evening which made for a lovely dinner time.
8. I had the pleasure of reading aloud to Ruth the science fiction story (perhaps novel?) that Ben started writing out of boredom today. It is very gripping.
9. Ruth and I put together our folders of music which required a lot of copying, printing, taping, hole-punching, (and a little swearing on my part). Ben sat by quietly writing more of his novel.
10. Now we're off to bed.
11. That is all.
